Middle School For secondary students, the model is a tiered approach with collaboration at its core. We recognize the importance of student choice in their interest areas, which is supported by current research. The PEAK Program Coordinator is working by core curriculum areas, and by grade level. She collaborates with teachers to enhance subject areas within classrooms, as well as planning seminars and "send-tos" that are linked to studies the kids are involved with.
