4th and 5th grade fantasy fans are fired up to see author
Brandon Mull, author of the "Fablehaven" series, and "The Candy Shop War," speak to them on Wednesday, February 17th. Mr. Mull will present at the JHHS auditorium from 9:55-10:40 for 5th grade and 10:55-11:40 for 4th grade. His visit is hosted by the Teton County Library.
In anticipation of his visit, 4th and 5th graders are entering a "Reading Raffle" in the CES library. When students read a book, they can earn a raffle ticket in one of two ways; passing an AR quiz with an 80% or above, or write a reading recommendation for the library's box. Students can earn up to 3 raffle tickets, and may enter to win any of three prizes; a copy of "Fablehaven," a copy of "The Candy Shop War" or a Fablehaven t-shirt.
Each 4th and 5th grade classroom, as well as the Title I and PEAK classrooms, have been given a copy of "Fablehaven" for their classroom libraries, courtesy of the Teton County Library.
Mr. Mull will do a reading and a book signing on Thursday, February 18th, from 6:30-8 pm at the Middle School. This is a public event, and parents and students are welcome to attend.
